CAPACITY BUILDING TRAINING ON PROGRAM DESIGN/DEVELOPMENT, COORDINATION AND POLICY IMPLEMENTATION TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS (EVAWG).
The Cross River State Ministry of Women Affairs, in a bid to live up to its mission to serve as the state vehicle that bring about speedy and healthy development of Cross River State Women, Children and Physically challenged has organised a 3day Capacity Building Training on Program Design/Development, Coordination and Policy Implementation to End Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG).
The Objective of the workshop, in the face of the dearth of skilled manpower is to:
1. Build Capacities of the staff of Ministry of Women Affairs in Program Design and Development to build their technical capacities in delivering a result oriented people centered intervention.
2. Strengthen the coordination and leadership role of the Ministry of Women Affairs in providing programmatic and leadership role in the delivery of interventions aimed at addressing all forms of violence against women, girls and children in line with approved SOPs (Standard Operational Procedures).
3. Provide the technical framework via improved capacities to implement various policies and laws that are addressing GBV/SGBV/HPs and ensure that the state is safe and free for our Women and Girls.
